If you are faced with an employment relationship problem, have a claim or need representation, it is invaluable to have independent legal advice.  Early advice can clarify the extent of the problem, inform you of your legal rights and obligations, and enable you to make an informed decision on how to proceed. You are welcome to contact me for an free initial telephone discussion about your situation.

The services I offer to employees and unions include advice and representation on:

  • disciplinary investigations;
  • dismissal;
  • restraint of trade
  • restructuring and redundancy;
  • bargaining and settlement negotiations;
  • workplace bullying;
  • stress claims;
  • sexual harassment;
  • discrimination claims;
  • privacy;
  • health and safety;
  • contractual and statutory rights and obligations.

This includes representation in personal grievances, disputes, breach of contract claims and other wrongs, in mediation, the Employment Relations Authority and the Employment Court.

My fees are set in accordance with the NZ Law Society's principles of charging. These take into account what is fair and reasonable for the work done and the interests of both client and lawyer. I do not charge clients a percentage of the compensation they receive.
