Rodger Pool has an honours degree in law, a diploma in business in personnel management and employment relations, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. He was the recipient of a senior prize in law from Auckland University’s law school. He has completed Masters papers in employment law and strategic human resources management.
With over 25 years experience in employment relations and human resources management, Rodger also has a wealth of practical experience in helping clients to successfully manage their way through difficult employment issues.
Rodger operated his own business consultancy focussing on employment law and employment relations. He has significant experience as a senior human resources management practitioner in the corporate sector. He is also a certified master coach with the Behavioural Coaching Institute (Australia) and is a qualified psychological test user (MBTI, Hogans and SHL).
Rodger’s clients have covered a wide cross-section of industry sectors including manufacturing, health, local government, aviation, newspapers, commercial printing, magazine publishing, finance, banking, telecommunications, human resources consultancies, architecture, home care, non profit health and industry training organisations, and private individuals.
Rodger is a member of the Auckland District Law Society, the New Zealand Law Society, the Employment Law Institute and the Human Resources Institute of New Zealand.
